A fantastic and exciting opportunity has arisen for a GIS Analyst to join our Geospatial Group in our Perth office (approx 150people) located in Subiaco. The application of innovative spatial solutions across our environment and planning, water, resource and mining, urban development and transport market sectors is core to PB’s business.

GIS ANALYST (0-5 YEARS EXPERIENCE)

Reporting to the GIS Team Manager the key function of this role will be to undertake analysis and mapping and to provide support to users of PB’s GIS and data management technology.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
• An understanding of key concepts relating to spatial data, including datums and projections.
• An understanding of management, analysis and dissemination of spatial information
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment to specific deadlines
• Working knowledge of the ESRI suite of GIS products.

Graduates with degrees or double degrees, completed within the last 3 years, in the following disciplines would be particularly suited to this role: Geographic Information Science, Geographic Information Technology.
