YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
You will:
• Analyse and report on transport data, modelling and system planning issues.
• Assist with research, literature reviews and examinations of other organisation’s methods and data.
• Provide assistance in the conduct of transport modelling, transport planning and transport monitoring projects and studies.
• Assist in the conduct of transport planning related surveys, ensuring data integrity.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of databases (including spatial datasets), ensuring suitability for input to transport model development and travel behaviour analysis.
• Interrogate databases and spatial datasets to identify and produce required outputs and statistics.
• Assist in the preparation of Ministerial and Senior Officer correspondence, reports and briefing notes.
• Perform duties as required to assist the Transport Research and Analysis Centre in meeting its business obligations.
• Proactively engage in contemporary human resource management practices including employment equity, anti-discrimination, workplace health and safety, ethical behaviours and personal performance agreement.

IS THIS THE ROLE FOR YOU?
You will:
• address issues arising out of data collection and purchase activities such as the South East Queensland Travel Survey, Australian Bureau of Statistics Journey to Work data, and Travel Time Surveys.
• Be involved in the collection, editing, coding, evaluating, processing, analysing, reporting, dissemination and advising on statistical data.
• Be required from time to time to provide assistance to staff from other branches within Integrated Transport Planning Division as directed by the Manager (Transport Data Systems).
• You may also be directed to provide support to other internal and external parties in relation to data sets held by the Transport Research and Analysis Centre.
